Planning events and finding equipment
Start with a specific goal: an event task for the next reset, an item for a quest, or an equipment upgrade. This makes it easier to choose an event or farming target.
Check the schedule before entering
The event schedule is the current list. Use the server clock at the top of the website, rather than assuming the displayed time is your local time. The server uses Europe/Riga time, which changes between winter and summer.
Read the day as well as the time: “every day” and a named weekday are different schedules. Prepare the required entry item, Zen and space for rewards before the event starts. Check your event tier instead of assuming that any Blood Castle or Devil Square completion satisfies the task.
Turn an event into task progress
For reset tasks, first open Reset with the intended character and read the event name, minimum tier and remaining count.
- Complete the appropriate event with that character.
- Disconnect the account from the game before submitting progress through the website.
- Return to the reset page. Confirm a specific event task or select an unused record for an “any event” task.
- Check that the remaining count changed before starting another event for the same task.
The records must be unused and fall within the period since your last reset. A record already submitted to a quest or reset is unavailable for another task. For quest tasks, follow the quest's own progress and time restrictions.
Entering an event, finishing it and receiving its reward are different actions. A task may require a specific result; read its wording. If an expected record is missing, keep the event name, tier, character and server time for support.
How to read the drop table
Item drop statistics are collected from recorded drops. The table is useful for finding which monster has dropped an item, but it is not a table of configured probabilities per kill.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Map and monster | Where the recorded item came from. |
| Drops from monster | How many recorded drops of this item came from that monster. |
| Share of monster's recorded drops | This item's count divided by all recorded item drops from that monster. |
| Total item drops | The item's recorded count from all monsters. |
For example, 20 recorded drops of an item out of 100 recorded item drops from a monster give 20% in the table. That does not mean the item drops on 20% of kills: kills without a recorded item are not the denominator.
A small sample is weak evidence. The table rounds percentages, so 0% is not proof of an impossible drop. An item missing from the table may simply have no recorded drops yet. Match the item name and monster before comparing rows.
A practical equipment plan
- Choose the slot or task you are trying to improve; write down required upgrade level and options.
- Look up potential sources in the drop table and server features in About.
- Compare farming with market offers. For reset items, the cheapest qualifying copy may be more suitable than valuable gear you use.
- Check equipment requirements before buying. Ancient and Excellent effects on MuMat have server-specific changes; do not rely only on a generic MU guide.
- Check the reward's destination in the warehouse and web storage. If an item is temporary, check its period before planning it into permanent equipment.
For Castle Siege, group events and boss hunts, agree on roles and loot handling with your group beforehand. Current event announcements and quest reward lists determine the available rewards; an old season plan is not a guarantee of today's drop.
See storage and trading for purchases and resets and Grand Resets for task submission.
