Resets, tasks and Grand Resets

A reset is more than reaching level 400. You also need to complete the tasks shown for your character. This guide explains the order of actions and the changes to expect.

Before pressing Reset

  1. Sign in to the website and select the character you want to reset. Open Reset.
  2. Reach level 400. Review the item, event and Zen requirements on that page before spending resources.
  3. Disconnect the account from the game before submitting tasks or performing the reset. Returning to character selection still leaves the account connected.
  4. Submit the required items using the buttons next to the matching items. Having an item in your inventory is not the same as submitting it.
  5. Confirm the required events on the reset page. An event that has happened is not necessarily an event already submitted to the task.
  6. Check the Zen amount and the before/after stat table. The website counts Zen in web balance, the warehouse and the account's characters.
  7. Complete the remaining requirements and press Reset. Your level becomes 6, the reset counter increases and you can level again.

Finding and submitting an item

The reset page looks for matching items in your character's equipment and inventory, the account warehouse and web storage. Compare the requested item with the available matches: level, Luck and Excellent requirements matter.

Use the search market link beside the task to find the item type. On the market, also check the required attributes; an item with the right name alone may not qualify.

Submitting an item consumes that item. If several copies qualify, choose the one you intend to give up. Where available, task replacement and removal are separate paid actions; read the currency and price on their buttons first.

Why an event may not count

An eligible event must belong to this character, match the requested event and tier, remain unused and have occurred since the last reset. Events from another character or already used for a task cannot be reused.

For a specific event, the page offers completion when enough matching records exist. For an “any event” task, choose from the available records. Check the remaining count after confirming.

Use the current event schedule. If a completed event is missing, note its name, tier, character and server time before contacting support.

Zen and stats

Before the first Grand Reset, Zen tasks currently start with reset 5. The price then increases with the reset number. With a base of 5 million Zen, resets 5, 6 and 10 cost 5, 10 and 30 million respectively. This is a calculation example: the amount on your reset page is authoritative. With Grand Resets, Zen is required from the first reset of the new cycle and includes your Grand level.

An ordinary reset reduces your total stats proportionally, including unspent points. The reduction is 2.5% of the unprotected total, capped at 3,000 points. The protected amount increases with Grand level. For example, an unprotected total of 60,000 loses 1,500 points; a total of 200,000 reaches the 3,000-point cap. Check your personal preview instead of treating a reset as a fixed number of extra stats.

Grand Reset: complete the Grand Quest

The current cycle contains 100 resets. At the limit, the Reset page switches to the Grand Quest for the next Grand level. Disconnect from the game to start it and follow its tasks. The Grand Reset overview shows progress and bonuses; opening that overview does not perform a Grand Reset.

Before finishing the quest, review the rewards and any item choices. The reward comes from the current quest, not an old epoch announcement.

After completion:

  • Grand level increases; resets return to 0 and level becomes 6.
  • Stats are rebuilt, with 5,000 unspent points per new Grand level.
  • Equipped items are taken off into inventory, the warehouse or web storage. Check these places before assuming an item disappeared.
  • Any VIP voucher awarded by the quest is stored for later activation. Check the voucher and active VIP restrictions in the Grand Reset section.

Reaching resets 60, 80 and 100 awards one all-time storage slot at each milestone. These account slots are retained after a Grand Reset. See storage and trading for how to mark items for a future epoch.

A quick troubleshooting checklist

Problem What to check
The account is still in game Disconnect fully; character selection is not a full logout.
The item is present but the task is unfinished Use its submit button and check the attributes of the requested item.
The event is complete but the task is unfinished Check the character, tier, date since the last reset and task confirmation.
There is not enough Zen Open Zen management and compare the total with the current requirement.
